Filter of Hope Mission Trip - UPDATES!

Our team is in Dominican Republic!

Hola from the Dominican Republic!!! We had a smooth travel day on Friday after our 4am start meeting at the MSP airport. We had a quick layover in Miami with just enough time for everyone to grab a snack. We were greeted by our Filter of Hope staff, Mike & Rafael, just after customs in Santo Domingo. We also meet up with the other mission team that is a youth group from Ohio. They have about 20 participants & leaders. We loaded up our luggage and got into a school bus with water bottles and sandwiches for a 2 hour trek to the Word of Life camp in Baní. Once we made it to the camp we had dinner and an orientation with our Filter of Hope staff then went to sleep!!morning and will begin working with Filter of Hope on Monday!

Worship & Serving!

Sunday we had breakfast at 7:30 and loaded up to head to church. The service consisted of Spanish songs and the message was translated to English for us. After church we concluded our orientation and was served lunch by the church. We then broke up into 3 groups with a translator and member of the local church. We visited with houses in the neighborhood to meet with them, to give and teach them to use the water filter, and share the gospel. We drove back to the camp for some free time on the beach followed by dinner and debrief time as a team. We appreciate all of your prayers over our time and team!

MUUUCE 2026!

700+ middle schoolers from our denomination’s conference are heading Woodbury! MUUUCE stands for “The Most Unbelievable, Ultimate, Urban, Camping Experience.” It will be 3 days filled with fun, excitement, and worship. Registration for MUUUCE includes Valleyfair, a massive party, t-shirts, meals, housing at church and more. A group from Catalyst will drive down and stay as a group. $190 / Student
