Worship is an opportunity to experience God in community. We sing a mix of contemporary worship songs and popular hymns during our service. Sing as you feel comfortable or just listen along. We celebrate communion 1-2 times a month. Prayer is woven into each service.
Building a community where everyone has an opportunity to belong is important at Catalyst. After church we provide space for people to connect with each other. You’ll be invited to hang around as long as you’d like to enjoy a donut, a cup of coffee and new friends!
The teaching at Catalyst is rooted in the Bible. Our teaching strives to reflect God’s character that is perfectly manifested in Jesus. Our hope is to help people understand how much God loves them and to express the lengths God went to in order to provide us the gift of salvation and relationship through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Children are welcome in our church services. We also have Nursery and Children’s Ministry for kids to learn about God with their peers and caring adults on Sundays during service. Nursery is for children 6 weeks to age 5 during the entire worship service. Catalyst Kids is for kids K – 5th grade. They attend main service worship and are released to Catalyst Kids before the sermon. Learn more about Catalyst Kids.
Each month there is a 5th Sunday, Catalyst goes into the community to worship through service. We have a variety of projects available from helping with a yard, filling snack bags for Solid Ground, or visiting residents at Harbor Crossing. Do you know someone who could help out that Sunday? We’d love to have guests help us fill all the project spots! Everyone is invited to grab food from home or take-out lunch and return to the Y afterward to connect and hear about projects anytime between 11:30am-12:30pm.
